This Creative Eye Workshop explores the use of imagination in the visualization of photographic images and how visual dynamics add a depth of meaning to images. VisualizationThrough visualization a photographer forms of a concept, a mental image inspired by sensory experience, conscious and subconscious though, that can be made visible through creative application of the photographic craft. Visual DynamicsVisual dynamics can be defined as the arrangement and relationship of visual elements in an order and unity that create an augmented psychological and emotional effect in the viewer. During the workshop, you will learn about the process of visualization and techniques to develop the effective use of visual dynamics in making images. You will also engage in self-examination of their personal psychology and sociology and how it determines your artistic expression. RequirementsYou are expected to have mastered the basic craft of photography, have a working knowledge and experience with computers and Photoshop or other image editing software. You must have at your disposition suitable photographic equipment and a computer with image editing software in order to prepare your images for presentation in class. Demo image editing software will be provided where required. If you wish to use conventional photographs, they must be scanned into a digital format. Workshop OutlineSessions 2 and 3 are usually in the morning or afternoon of the same day.
