Scenes are visually transformed by night light. Certain subjects, textures and surfaces become strikingly apparent in low light. Complicated and distracting backgrounds disappear. New lines and shapes are revealed.

In this digital photography workshop you will explore the unique potential provided by low light photography. You will learn how to approach subjects, how to evaluate light, experiment and use cameras and accessories. You will learn how to creatively use reflection, luminescence and transience of moving objects to make unusual photographic images. In a concluding session, the participants will present, discuss and appreciate their work and you receive further guidance for future photographic work.
