During the last decade, digital imaging tools have become readily and cheaply available. They are now as common in the workplace as the telephone.

The objective of this digital photography course is to give participants a practical knowledge of digital photography and skills necessary to make effective visual statements by integrating digitized images into various forms of documents. You will learn basic concepts of digital imaging, about the functions of digital cameras and how to use camera settings. Specific instruction is given on how to photograph two and three-dimensional objects, landscape, architecture and people. You will also learn how to use scanners, how to manage and archive images, how to edit images, how to prepare images for printing, electronic documents, audio-visual presentation and use on the Web.

Course Outline

This digital photography course consists of 14 three-hour sessions. The course can also be adapted for specific work environments. If you wish to receive more information about an adapted presentation, please send us an email
