This digital photography workshop experience is presented in the magnificent maritime environment where the Saguenay River meets the St. Lawrence. The deep cold waters of the Saguenay River flow from the north into the St. Lawrence River and create a unique environment for marine life. The great rorqual whales and the white beluga whales come in significant numbers to feed on the krill that thrive here and numerous species of birds come to nest. The area around the confluence of the two rivers is so special that it is actually protected as a Marine Park!
