This digital photography workshop explores the landscape of the Gatineau Park Park (near Ottawa), and the varied flora and fauna of the deciduous forest in all its glory of fall colours. The focus may be the Mackenzie King Estate, situated within the park, which offers a wide variety of landscape, vegetation, architecture and possibilities for pictures of people and activities. Other locations may also be chosen according to various conditions and the interest of the participants.

During the first session, you will be introduced to aesthetic elements of images and approaches to image making. Essential photographic technique will also be reviewed. Techniques for landscape, panoramic and macro-photography will be discussed. You will receive group and individual coaching while working on your on-site photographic project and you explore the Fall Colours. In a concluding session, the participants will present, discuss and appreciate their work and you will receive further guidance for future photographic work.
